Getting started

The ten things worth knowing in your first week.

  1. Door access runs 6 am to 9 pm.

That's when you can get in, not when you have to leave. Stay and work as late as you like; you just can't re-enter once you've left after 9 pm. Upstairs is a quiet working space from 9 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday. Food is prepared and eaten downstairs.

  2. Check in on the iPad by the entrance.

Every visit. Use the KINN app, your PIN, or your QR code.

  3. Take calls in a booth, a conference room, or downstairs.

Upstairs is quiet space, so please silence Slack, texts, and email notifications. The first floor is occasionally closed for private functions.

  4. Connect to the member WiFi.

Network The KINN Member WiFi, password bethechange1. Guests use KINNGuestWiFi.

  5. Leave no trace.

This is a communal space. Clean up after yourself.

  6. The upstairs refrigerator is open to all members.

It's cleaned out daily, so take anything you want to keep.

  7. The downstairs microwave is open to all members.

  8. Pre-register every guest and visitor.

Register them in the KINN app and check them in on arrival before heading upstairs. Members are responsible for their guests and for making sure they follow our policies and Code of Conduct.

  9. Member and community events run every week.

Register for each one in the KINN app. You can also browse the member calendar.

  10. Referral credits apply to your next billing cycle.

Refer a new member, and the credit lands on your next invoice.

The Clubhouse

Hours

Door access, every day6 am to 9 pm
Upstairs quiet hours9 am to 6 pm

6 am to 9 pm is when the doors open, not when the building closes. Key fobs work in that window daily, weekends included, and you're welcome to stay and work past 9 pm.

The one catch: if you leave the building after 9 pm, you won't be able to get back in until access resumes the next morning.

If you're the last one in the building, make sure the front door and the gate close completely and lock. Lock-up steps →

Membership policies

Billing cycles

Membership dues are automatically billed according to the payment schedule outlined in your membership agreement.

Pausing your membership

Members may pause for 1–3 months once during each 12-month membership term. Additional pauses aren't permitted in the same term. A new pause can be requested only after a new 12-month term has begun, following the completion of the previous pause.

Any approved pause months used during the initial 12-month term are added to the end of the membership agreement. Your regular billing schedule stays unchanged through the first 12 months. After the initial term is complete, paused months are honored as prorated membership time.

Submit your request in writing at least 30 days before your next billing date. All recurring payments are then placed on hold.

Pause form

Cancelling your membership

Cancellation requests must be submitted at least 30 days before your next billing cycle to avoid additional charges. Requests submitted with less than 30 days' notice result in one additional month of billing.
